”We gotta dig him up”

I read this book called Secrets In The Shadows by Anne Schraff. This book is a realistic fiction book because majority of the events that happen in the book couldn’t occur in real life. This book is about a 16 year old boy named Roylin Bailey, he has a okay job as a waiter at Golden Corral. Roylin meets this girl korie from school, he tries to impress her. Turns out in the process of impressing her he made a terrible mistake that will haunt him for the rest of his life. My favorite part of the book was ending because it made Roylin realize one little mistake he made could turn in to a domino effect, that could cause way bigger problems that could ruin the rest of people lives. I feel like the main idea in this book is don’t try to be someone your not. The reason I say that is because the mistake Roylin made is because he was trying to impress Korie. He wanted to make it seem like he had a perfect life, he made a lot of money when in reality he didn’t have a perfect life at all. I would recommend this book to people who like mysteries that don’t take a long time to read. There’s I believe 21 books in the series and the good thing about it is you don’t have to read them in order, plus you don’t get bored of them because each book is a different story but takes place in the same high school.

Lost and found

I read this book called Lost and Found by Anne Schraff. It is a realistic fiction book because most of the events that happened in the book could have happened in real life. This book is about a a girl named Darcy Wills shes about 16 years old, lives in a bad neighborhood. Darcy starts getting these notes from a stranger left on her desk at school. She doesn’t tell anyone even though she is really scared this person could harm her, so shes trying to solve both problems at once. Both of the problems being the stranger with the notes and saving her sister from making choices that might alter her life. My favorite part in the book was when she figured out who the stranger was because you would never really expect this person to be the one leaving her the notes. I would recommend this book to people who like realistic fiction books that aren’t long and the good thing about these books are they are not gonna take you forever to read the books or you will never be bored of them.

My Identity

I am is an older sister on my moms side but on my dads side I'm the younger sister. I am also Salvadoran, Mexican and Puerto Rican, My  mom  Mexican and Puerto Rican and my dad is just Salvadoran. I am a dog owner of a wiener dog mixed with golden retriever. I am also a daughter because my mom decided to. I like to play volleyball, soccer, softball and football sometimes. I have 4 sisters and 1 brothers. My best friend Jackie we’ve knowing each other for 3 years but been friends for 2. I’m always home and when I’m not I’m either downtown or over Jackies house. My most favorite things to do is sleep, eat and watch movies. My favorite movie is monsters inc. Well now you know about me, tell me a little bit about yourself.

Courage

The word I chose is courage, I chose that word because all my goals for 2018 have go do with me having the courage to do something. For example one of my goal is to have the courage to join ACHS cheerleading, poms, soccer and softball team. The word courage goes along with that goal because if I don’t have the courage to try out then I won’t be able to make the team or even see if I could be on the team. Another one of my goals is to have the courage to say what’s on mind my or my opinion. For example I get scared to say my opinion because I feel like people are gonna judge me but I want to change that this year I want to say my opinion and not care if people don’t agreee with me. One of my last goals for this year is just to have the courage to focus on school, and what I mean by that is I get distracted a lot so if I find something more interesting then school I’ll focus on that. That’s what I want to change this year I want to not focus on other things I want to focus on school to bring up my grades.

Awkward

I read this book called awkward it’s by Svetlana Chmakova. It’s a realistic fiction book because some of the events that occurs in the book could have happened but not all of them. This book about this girl named Penelope, she’s new at this school. She had a mindset to stay on the low but it turns out she doesn’t accomplish that, she bumps into this boy and she never said sorry. Now she’s trying to figure out a way on how to say sorry, but gets scared every time she’s even near him. Until they have to go against eachother to save their clubs. Who will win? I think the book was okay it was ingesting it was like once you starting reading it you couldn’t put it down. My favorite character in the book is Jaime because he’s kind and really caring. My favorite part would have to be when Penelope and Jaime started bonding because it was like their friendship was meant to be they are both really kind and enjoy the same stuff.
